PBR November 2025 –  Tournament and League roundup

Victory for the Dangerous American; Vince returns to form
“Red Cat” Ed Rojas played an outstanding tournament and finals on Saturday – winning his first tournament in five years after many high finishes and excellent performances. The veteran Rojas, who had crafted his game over the years through the New York bar league scene, found his best when it counted, qualifying 2nd overall and keeping his cool to with the final game on Godzilla. Matt Vince took 2nd, with Neil McRae rolling back the clock to punch in an excellent 3rd place. Lucy Vince took 4th spot in a strong day for the Vince family, with Sarah Vince very close to qualification herself.
It was a tough day for some of the EAPA, with Bennett Snr and “Semi-Pro” Garwood well below their normal standards – they’ll be back for Monster Meet in 2 weeks where we are likely to see bounce back performances. Bennett Jnr on the other hand continues to impress – taking 8th spot on the day. Following a solid Hungarian Pinball Open and great UK Open, he has moved to become the 39th best youth player in the world – well done George! Also playing great on Saturday and very unlucky to miss out was Nick Clark in 9th.
Meanwhile underdog of the day Armen Lloyd excited Pinball fans for a fleeting moment as he rode a hot start to a top 4 place in the early going. Sadly, he crumbled under the weight of expectation, finishing tied for 3rd from bottom in the end.
With regards to PBR league – Matt Vince took top spot with a resounding victory. It has been a while in league since he displayed his very best, but perhaps he is rounding back into form in the run up to Monster Meet where as ever he will remain one of the favourites.
Dave Fowler played strongly once again to take second, with Aw in the third, and Combo King Stewart back to take 4th. Other notable results: Dan McLean in 6th, and shouts outs must go to Bride of Swaff Helen, who punched in an outstanding 9th spot with Charlie Lawn taking 10th. Great efforts!
Sadly at the bottom of the table it was Boff and Ben, with VIP BL Whatsapp group fans left distraught with very little to cheer about on this occasion.
